When i think about Uncle Ralph i always remember how kind and generous he was. One particular example that stays in my mind was when our 2 families were visiting Blackpool. Julie and I both really wanted a hat which had a picture of our favourite pop group on it but Mum and Dad had said they were too expensive so we couldn't have them. Without saying anything Uncle Ralph disappeared into the shop and bought us one each!!! It might not sound that exciting to others but it meant the world to us. We were over the moon with them and didn't want to take them off. Uncle Ralph was always so generous and kind to us and this is how i will always remember him.
